Waldo calls Mr. Magoo. He is to be a big singer on the TV talent show "Top the Music." Inspired by the possibility of winning a prize, Prezley comes up with a plan for his friend Waldo to win the contest. He plants a speaker inside the young fellow's jacket and has Waldo lip-sync to a pop version of "Jimmy Crack Corn." Unfortunately, a jealous winner on the show, Squirrley Evans, exposes the two. The wrong record is put on with only animal sounds. Waldo is embarrassed, but Magoo is pleased..
