Robes is sent to gaurd Zed because of a note that says that No-Face is planning to steal Zed's Spirit Shard. When Zed gets away from Robes but is caught by him moments later. Why they are talking No-Face appears and knocks out Zed and takes his Spirit Shard. Robes fights him but loses and is framed as No-Face. Now the city is under attack and Zed must face Dumas who is behind Zed's stolen Spirit Shard. Can Zed defeat his own Spirit with only a sword?.
